Daniel Kelley-Petersen believes that counseling is, at its core, a trusting relationship that is built on truth, courage, and communication. He works with individuals, couples and families to continue the journey of self-exploration and discovery that leads to a full, enriched and engaged life.
In his practice, Daniel uses Person-Centered therapy techniques, adapted from Carl Rogers, to support, build, and maintain the therapeutic relationship with clients. He identifies as a Gestalt therapist, meaning his interest and curiosity in supporting clients is focused on the present moment and the choices they have available to them. Daniel also uses counseling techniques from various theoretical backgrounds to support individuals, couples, and groups based on how the therapeutic relationship unfolds.
